Terms of Service

1.Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Wine God application, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2.Eligibility
You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction to use the Service: at least 21 years old in the United States, and at least the legal age of majority for alcohol consumption in any other country. By using Wine God, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
3.The Service
Wine God uses artificial intelligence to identify wine bottles from user-submitted photographs and to generate informational cards including a proprietary "Wine God Score," tasting notes, regional context, and links to third-party retailers. Wine God does not sell, distribute, or ship alcohol. All purchases occur on third-party platforms subject to their own terms.
4.User Conduct
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer the AI models or scoring system; (c) submit images you do not own or have permission to use; (d) scrape, mirror, or republish Service content without written permission; (e) use the Service to facilitate alcohol sales to minors.
5.User-Submitted Content
Photos you upload remain your property. By submitting them, you grant Wine God a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, analyze, and display them within the Service for the purpose of fulfilling your request and improving the Service. We do not sell your photos or use them for advertising.
6.Affiliate & Retailer Links
Some links to retailers may be affiliate links, meaning Wine God may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. This does not influence the Wine God Score, which is generated independently.
7.No Warranties
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy of identification, scoring, pricing, availability, or any other aspect of the Service. Wine identification by photograph is probabilistic and may be incorrect.
8.Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wine God and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to incorrect bottle identification, third-party purchase disputes, or any decisions made based on Service content.
9.Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice.
10.Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your operating jurisdiction. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. [Insert specific governing-law clause when entity is incorporated.]
11.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
