Privacy Policy

1.What We Collect

  • Photos you upload. Sent to our AI provider for label recognition; not stored beyond the time required to return your card.
  • Scan results. Stored locally in your browser (Library, Registry). We do not have a copy unless you create an account.
  • Usage analytics. Anonymous aggregate metrics (page views, scan counts) to improve the Service.
  • Account data (if you sign up). Email address and authentication tokens only.

2.What We Don't Do

We do not sell your data. We do not share your photos with advertisers. We do not build a profile of your drinking habits for resale.

3.Third-Party Services

We use the following sub-processors to deliver the Service: Google (AI vision via the Lovable AI Gateway), Supabase (account storage if applicable), and OpenStreetMap (map tiles). Each has its own privacy policy.

4.Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to remember your scan history and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5.Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email privacy@winegod.app. You may also clear all locally-stored data at any time from your browser settings or via the "Purge" controls in the Library and Registry.

6.Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under the legal drinking age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us and we will delete the data.

7.Data Retention

Uploaded photos are not retained after the scan completes. Account data is retained while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account closure.
